That's gorgeous! I love the wood, especially that nice ink line going through it. That's got great character. The bridge reminds me a of a racing sailboat - smooth, fluid, elegant lines. Nice work. |

The "F" was for Fahrenheit, right? (4F in Mt. Pleasant/Shepherd area currently)  BTW, I think of one word at seeing your bridge......SLEEK! Although, might that dark line be a weak spot? Just wondering.  |

Here in Duluth, MN we know cold is what it is. Just gotta buck up for the next 3 months, because thats about how much longer winter will last here. Last night air temp of -11F, wind chills pushing -40 below... I also love the bridge, very aesthetically pleasing with the colors. |

Looks good, Hesh. In my own design work, the axiom "form follows function" is a major guiding principle, and seems to naturally lead to forms that are aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. I'd say this is true of your bridge. On the other hand, forms can often be varied a great deal for aesthetic reasons, with no detriment to their functioning. In the case of your bridge, the question that comes to my mind is whether its design fits well, aesthetically, with the rest of the instrument. I'm not implying that it doesn't - I don't know - it depends on your design for the rest of the guitar. |

Hesh that is one fine looking bridge. I love the wood and the aerodynamic shape. Very nice indeed. I found quite by accident that the counter bore/countersink on the bits below give a very nice smooth countersink when used in a drill press. I'm sure they are available locally too.  |
